Coupes have long held a special appeal. Over the years,
numerous manufacturers have offered value-packed four-cylinder coupes.
Recently there has been the Holden Astra and long before that there's been the Toyota Corolla and
Holden Gemini amongst others. So coupes aren't new, but yet there is not a lot on offer at the present
time.
However, it is Kia to the rescue! Their Cerato Koup is currently offered with a two-litre
four-cylinder engine with a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
The South Korean manufacturer provides a stylish small coupe that looks good and drives well. It
isn't overly sporty, just moderately so. But its attraction is two-fold. There is the styling and there
is value. Both are appealling. The manufacturer's list price is from just $23,690. This is an excellent
price for such a stylish car.
Standard equipment includes seventeen-inch alloy wheels (including a spare), electronic stability
control, six airbags, rear parking sensors, four-way adjustable steering column, height adjustable
driver's seat, a chrome-tipped tailpipe, alloy-look pedals, tinted glass, iPod and MP3 compatibility
and CD player with six speakers.
The Kia Cerato Koup is certainly an attractive proposition ... and check-out the optional colour
choices.
Besides the coupe, Kia also offer the Cerato as a sedan and in coming months a hatchback version
will be released.
