One of the world's most desired badges is that of the
Mercedes-Benz. It's a clear symbol that you have made it!
When spending big bucks on a car, it seems the German manufacturer has a way of grabbing your
attention.
The latest E-Class models is available in a range of body styles, including a sedan, wagon, coupe
and cabriolet.
Our most recent road test was that of an E-Class 350 cabriolet.
This car, complete with options has a Manufacturer's List Price of around $155,000. This is
certainly big bucks. At this price it is quite reasonable to have high expectations. And that's the way
it is. The Mercedes-Benz E 350 cabriolet delivers a very satisfying package.
Our example featured a combined CD/DVD player, keyless entry, push button ignition, reversing
camera, satellite navigation, leather trim, AMG sports package, dynamic handling pack and so much
more.
Yet, the driving experience was even more enjoyable than the equipment list.
Putting the top down, then seting the cruise control, holding onto the solid steering wheel ...
you get away in a very classy cabriolet. And it is just marvelous at cruising our roads.
This car is well built and particularly comfortable. With the top up or the top down, the
Mercedes-Benz E 350 delivers a most enjoyable drive experience.
It's a shame that the price tag will be well beyond most people's budget. But, as you would image,
it's a justifyable aspiration just the same.
