NEXT CAR'S NEWSLETTER
25th SEPTEMBER, 2005

WELCOME
to our newsletter #57

FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

Friends,

Fuel prices are high and so too is the interest in the new model cars which are scheduled for debut at Sydney's Motor Show. We'll be there to provide coverage. And as usual, we'll have news on the new models before and after the show. This week we publish a road test on a V8 ..... the Monaro CV8. And we have other V8 road tests lined up, too. For example, expect a test on the Falcon XR8 and the new Discovery 3 fairly soon.

Warm regards,
Stephen Walker

Holden Monaro CV8
road test

Retirement isn't kind to some cars, but not so with the Monaro. I suspect the name will be remembered with a degree a fondness and, in time, I suspect many will wish the Monaro was still here!

The Editor's Pick Of The News

After reading the news, which story did you enjoy the most?

I suspect Professor Krish Bhaskar enjoys being in the news. And that is why we haven't reported much about this British car enthusiast in the past. But when he shows us what he has in mind, we run with the story at top speed. When a car, even a 'dream car', looks as good as the 'Project Tempest' car, I get excited. Therefore, Project Tempest becomes my pick of the news.

Read the story ..... here.
