    EDITOR'S
    PICK OF THE NEWS

After reading the news of the week, which story did you enjoy the most?

How do you maintain interest in a model when everyone knows it's about to be consigned to history? There are the tried and tested methods of adding equipment or reducing prices. Both these methods have had success in the past. But I like the Holden policy with the Astra convertible. Make it a limited edition for a given number of examples and folks just may suspect the model is here to stay. Linea Rossa, which means 'Red line' in Italian, is a good looking convertible. But, as we disclosed back in May, the new Astra coupe/convertible is still 2 years away, so Holden needs to maintain interest in the current Astra convertible for a good while yet. With its fresh approach to marketing this product, this story becomes the pick of the week ..... read the story  here
