FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

Friends,

In a few weeks we'll have a story about $1 million dollars worth of cars. It's just one of the stories we're currently working on. Our road test programme is progressing along well. Look for 2 stories this coming week, one on the brilliant Lotus Elise and another on the Ford Escape.

Warm regards,
Stephen Walker

Here's a listing of some of the nation's car clubs.

At the 1972 Turin Motor Show, Giorgio Giugiario’s Ital Design showed a Lotus Esprit concept car. Lotus chief, Colin Chapman, recognised the potential of the new mid-engined design. Following development, production began in 1976. The great looks projected by the wedge shaped Giugiario design and the stunning performance from the 160 bhp 2-litre engine, combined with the cars light weight and superior Lotus handling promptly established the Esprit as a supercar.
