FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

Friends,

Today, we disclose why we were thoroughly delighted to drive over 1,000 kms in a new Monaro. And as always, we have a summary of this week's news.

There are some great road tests coming up. There will be a sports car, a convertible, 4WD's, a V8 sedan, a sporty Japanese economy car, small hatchbacks and more. As we approach our 6th month, we can see there is much to look forward too. For you and me alike!

Warm regards,
Stephen Walker

    EDITOR'S
    PICK OF THE WEEK

After reading the news of the week, which story did you enjoy the most?   This week, I enjoyed the story on the London buses. There are many icons in the world of motoring. The 1957 AEC Routemaster (and later variants) is just one such icon. These bright red double-deckers are widely recognised as a London bus by almost everyone. Even children recognise a London bus because there are countless millions of toy London buses! An end of an era is looming as London introduces more modern buses. But watch for an announcement regarding a "Heritage Route", because a few dozen Routemasters will be retained for the tourist trade on a yet to be announced route in the English capital ..... more
