Volkswagen has now increased the tow ball down weight of the Touareg from 140 kilogrammes to 350 kilogrammes.

This increase, in conjunction with the maximum towing capacity of 3,500 kgs (with brakes) and the choice of either 3.2 V6, 2.5 TDI, 4.2 V8 and 5.0 V10 engines, now allows the Volkswagen Touareg to perform the most challenging of towing tasks.
