Described as combining the best features of the Suzuki Swift small hatchback and the Suzuki Grand Vitara off-road wagon, the SX4 will be unveiled at the motor show on Friday 2nd February, 2007, by the Queensland and Northern NSW distributor, Suzuki Auto Co.

The SX4 made its world debut at the last Geneva motor show and is now on sale in the United States and Europe.

Although full details of the Australian version are yet to be announced, Suzuki says the SX4 is a wide-stance, five-door hatchback, with 2.0 litre engine, all-wheel drive and many practical interior features.

The SX4 will provide the basis for Suzuki's first entry in the the World Rally Championship later this year. A mock-up of the WRC car will be displayed beside the roadgoing SX4 at the motor show.
