Suzuki has continued its ongoing commitment to safety and
value with the addition of side and curtain airbags to its entry-level SX4 hatch.
The revision sees the full SX4 model range now standard with both Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
and six airbags – all at no extra charge to the customer.
Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers said the improvement will add extra value to the already
feature-packed small car.
“The SX4 has always been one of the best value choices in its class combining performance,
efficiency and Suzuki’s legendary reliability.”
“It set a new vision for small cross-overs when it first launched in 2007 with its unique
combination of style, space, high driving position, practicality and fuel economy.”
“Plus the SX4 is not just made for the city – it can handle the great outdoors too. The option of
an intelligent All-Wheel Drive (i-AWD) system means the SX4 caters to all lifestyles.”

“And now with the added safety of six airbags across the range – at no extra expense to our
customers – the SX4 is also one of the safest for any adventure you throw at it. At just $20,490* plus
'on-roads', the SX4 is compulsory driving for anyone considering a quality small car,” said
Devers.
The announcement comes soon after Suzuki was awarded a 5-star ANCAP safety rating for both the 2011
model Swift and Kizashi.
“Safety remains a top priority for Suzuki engineers when designing our range of vehicles. Combine
this with Suzuki’s renowned sporty handling and value-for-money philosophy and the Suzuki range becomes
an obvious choice for new car buyers,” said Devers.
