3rd September, 2004 Suzuki’s fun and exciting passenger car - the Liana, will hit the streets today with a new look, as a result of an exterior upgrade. Released on the Australian market earlier this year, the power enhanced Liana has been a great success for Suzuki, who are now looking forward to the same success with the latest model. Retaining Suzuki’s trademark characteristics of value for money, heaps of fun, and loads of equipment - the Liana now features a new look front grille, muscular fog lights and revised bumpers, further complimenting the bold and sports styling of the vehicle. Additional changes include a contemporary design being applied to the tail lights (hatch only) and the fitment of sporty new six-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. The Liana Sedan is further upgraded with a new rear mounted spoiler. Powered by a 1.8 litre, all-aluminum, VVT, fuel injected engine, the Liana delivers an impressive 92kW of power at 5,500rpm, and 170Nm of torque at 4,200rpm, while still boasting a combined fuel consumption rate of just 7.4litres per 100km. The Liana offers buyers a sleek and roomy interior that includes standard features such as air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, electric mirrors, remote keyless entry, on top of the sports body kit, fog lights and alloy wheels. The Liana is now also fitted with an amazing new in-dash 6-stacker CD player with seven speaker stereo system including a subwoofer and an additional audio control switch attached to the steering wheel. The extensive safety features of the Liana comprise of dual front SRS airbags, side impact protection beams, three-point seat belts and ABS with EBD.
