3rd April, 2007 | ||||
Suzuki Australia has re-launched the exciting Grand Vitara Trekker, adding
over $3,000 (RRP) worth of extra value to its popular compact SUV. Available for a limited time, the Trekker pack is the ultimate accessory for
both the three-door and five door variants* and enhances the Grand Vitara's
already excellent value for money reputation. Featuring everything from exterior styling, comfort, convenience, to utility
and technology, the Grand Vitara Trekker allows owners to get out, explore and
have more fun. Stand out features include a Garmin GPS navigation system, a 21-litre Waeco
portable fridge/warmer, a genuine Suzuki nudge bar and a 6 stacker CD system. Additional extras include acrylic headlamp and bonnet protectors, front
weathershields, a cargo net and a genuine Suzuki floor mat set.
The Garmin nüvi 310 GPS system features preloaded WhereIsT maps for all
Australia, text-to-speech voice guidance, hands-free calls with Bluetooth
wireless technology, fingertip touch-screen interface and USB interface for
loading data. The Waeco TC-21FL cooler/warmer has a 21 litre capacity, with a cooling
capacity of -30°C and a warming capacity of 65°C. The portable fridge also comes
with a universal bracket kit that plugs either straight into mains power (240V)
or a cigarette lighter (12V). The Trekker packs complements the highly awarded Grand Vitara's already
impressive list of standard equipment which includes ABS with EBD, dual SRS
front air bags, CD stereo with steering wheel audio controls, speed sensing
volume control, remote keyless entry, power windows and mirrors and climate
control air conditioning.
Recommended retail prices for the Grand Vitara Trekker start at $23,990 for
the 3 door, $28,990 for the 2.0 litre 5 door and $30,990 for the 2.7 litre V6
engine. Automatic transmission is available in the 5 door models for an extra
$2,000. The 2007 Grand Vitara Trekker is a limited offer and only available while
stocks last. This offer is not available on the Prestige model. The release of the 2007 Grand Vitara Trekker comes due to the highly
successful 2006 Trekker campaign, which boosted the Grand Vitara YTD retail
sales to an all time record of 3,306 units. Like all Suzuki vehicles, the Grand Vitara comes with Suzuki CustomerCare,
providing customers with peace of mind via a three year/100,000km warranty and
three year 24 hour roadside assistance. * excluding Prestige |
