12th June, 2006 Suzuki Australia's popular APV has received a significant upgrade further contributing to the versatility and appeal of the commercial van, making it an ideal choice for small business. The fitment of central door locking and air conditioning as standard takes the APV to a whole new level in passenger comfort and confirms Suzuki as the specialist in value packed products. Whilst the inclusion of an accessory socket, central dash clock and front floor carpet further adds to the overall driving experience. Since going on sale in June of last year the APV has impressed customers with its substantial interior space, performance, durability and reliability, making it the perfect partner for light commercial and fleet businesses. The vehicle provides considerable interior space, comfortably seating two adults in the front and a total cargo capacity of 3.4m3, for stock and equipment. The aluminium 1.6 litre 16 valve engine is extremely fuel efficient, yet does not compromise on performance, with the APV delivering exceptional output and torque when required. Economical and practical, the APV complies with the ADR 79/01 emission standard, effective in Australia since January, 2006. The compact APV features excellent manoeuvrability around busy city centres, with a full width tailgate which swings upwards as well as versatile dual swing, side opening doors for easy cargo access. The large door panels are perfect for corporate sign writing and mobile advertising, while the flat floor of the APV maximises cargo capacity. The interior offers all the comforts of a passenger car, complete with a smart and functional instrument panel, featuring all major controls and handy cockpit compartments. The cabin interior also offers ample legroom, with sliding and reclining seats as well as headrests that can be adjusted for added comfort. Three-position ELR seatbelts are standard fitment for the driver and passenger, and the large glass windscreen provides excellent visibility for safe driving in busy environments. As with all Suzuki vehicles, safety is kept at a premium with a rigid cabin construction incorporating side impact beams to help protect occupants and cargo in side collisions. Dual SRS front airbags are also fitted to automatically deploy in front, offset and diagonal collisions to help reduce the severity of occupant injury. The APV also features elevated headlights allowing for all round visibility plus reduced vulnerability in minor collisions. The APV comes fully fitted with a 2 speaker AM/FM stereo and CD player, heating, 3 spoke urethane steering wheel, sun visors with driver's side ticket holder, halogen headlamps, 2 speed front wipers, rear window demister, front and rear mud flaps, cargo mats and power steering. Standard features also include air conditioning, central door locking, a 12V accessory socket, digital clock and front floor carpet ensuring the APV really delivers on all round passenger comfort. The new and improved Suzuki APV is now priced from just $17,990 (RRP) and comes with Suzuki CustomerCare, providing customers with peace of mind via a three year/100,000km warranty and three year 24 hour roadside assistance. |
