30th September, 2004 Subaru will be a hub of interactive technology with a new stand at this year’s Australian International Motor Show. The stand reflects Subaru’s increasing premium status, showcasing the new Liberty with a cut-away technical interactive display. The stand also follows Subaru’s global guidelines with a stylish metallic back wall being the focus. The Australian International Motor Show is also the debut for the recently launched six-cylinder Liberty 3.0R and Liberty GT manual. The 2005 Impreza range including the exciting WRX and STi models will also be highlighted. Nick Senior, General Manager, Subaru Australia, believes that this year Subaru fans will enjoy the company’s best ever line up. “The introduction of a six-cylinder Liberty gives Subaru the most comprehensive range ever. There is a model for everyone including our new 2.5-litre Impreza RS Hatch and the range-topping Liberty 3.0R and GT models. “Subaru has always been based on quality engineering and taking an innovative, individual approach and our new Liberty and Impreza WRX STi variants reflect this. “Consumers will enjoy a look inside our cars and learning more about our engineering through the new interactive displays”. The stand will also include a Subaru Rally Team Australia Group N Impreza WRX STi as driven by Subaru’s aces Cody Crocker and Dean Herridge who will be making an appearance on the stand on Tuesday 12th October from 6pm. Subaru will also be involved in a number of themed days during the 10 day event with a treat for kids on Family Day (8th October) that includes face-painting and balloons. The Australian International Motor Show will be held from 7th-17th October at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour. |
