Melbourne Motor Show |
2nd March, 2005 Australia’s youngest automotive brand, Smart, will heighten awareness for the range of Smart cars at this year’s Melbourne Motor Show with the inclusion of the 12-metre high Smart tower on the Smart stand. The Smart tower is a 10-tonne galvanised steel sculpture which consists of an amazing vertical stack of six Smart Fortwo coupes and cabrios, towering towards the sky. The Australian-designed sculpture is a local take on the towers that are iconic of European Smart dealerships. “Getting the tower onto the Smart stand at the Melbourne Motor Show, whilst technically challenging, will enable thousands of people to get a good view of the Smart stand no matter where they are,” said Mr Sam Tabart, senior manager responsible for Smart in Australia. The Melbourne Motor Show opens to the public at 5pm on Thursday 3rd March at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. |
