The fastest and most powerful production vehicle ever made by Škoda is one step closer to producton. Due to arrive in Europe at the end of the year, the Škoda Octavia vRS hatch has a 0-100 km/h time of just 7.3 seconds (7.5 seconds for the wagon). Torque from the 2.0 TFSI 200bhp turbo direct injection engine is an impressive 280Nm at 1800 to 5000 rpm.

The new Škoda Octavia vRS will make its first world public appearance at this year’s International Motor Show in Frankfurt (IAA) on 17th September.

Following in the cult footsteps of the current Octavia vRS, this new vRS will be offered in a limited range of colours, comprised of a new colour, Race Blue metallic, Sprint Yellow, Corrida Red, Diamond Silver metallic and Black Magic pearl effect.
