Saab rear seat entertainment is available for $3,650 |
14th April, 2004 Tired of hearing, "Are we there yet?"Saab has solved the rear seat blues with the introduction of the Saab Rear Seat Entertainment System. The Saab Rear Seat Entertainment System is a fully-integrated, roof-mounted unit that offers DVD, VCD, CD-R and MP3 functionality. It also features infrared headphones and a remote control unit for fuss-free operation. Infrared headphones also allow for front-seat occupants to listen to and enjoy their own entertainment through the Saab’s standard in-car music system. The Saab Rear Seat Entertainment System features a 17.5 cm wide colour screen with the disc loaded directly into the unit rather than a boot-mounted changer as is common with less sophisticated systems. The unit is matched to the interior roof lining for a fully integrated, quality finish. It is also supported with a 12-month factory warranty. The introduction of the Saab Rear Seat Entertainment System continues Saab’s ‘infotainment’ rollout following the release of Saab’s fully-integrated TEL2 in-car telephone for 9-3 Sport Sedan and Convertible, which also provides mobile office function through Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The TEL2 accessory is priced at $1,400 and the Saab Rear Seat Entertainment system at $3,650. With the Saab Rear Seat Entertainment System the back seat chant will change from ‘Are we there yet?’ to ‘Slow down so we can watch the end of the movie.’ |
