Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is pleased to announce the
opening, this week, of its latest site, situated at number 1 Red Square, Moscow. Housed
within a converted museum, these very special premises sit next door to the
Kremlin and opposite St. Basils Cathedral on the north side of the square.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Moscow will welcome visitors and customers to this
unique site where they will be able to appreciate the new Phantom and also view
the Rolls-Royce that belonged to Lenin, which is on special loan. This motor car
famously had bespoke tracks fitted during the winter months to cope with the
heavy Moscow snowfall.
Speaking before the official opening, Tony Gott,
Chairman and CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said; "We are delighted to be in
Moscow to celebrate the opening of the latest of our worldwide dealer
operations. There is a heightened sense of excitement to be here today at such a
prominent address which stands as such a landmark at the centre of Russian
society. A number of Phantoms have already been delivered in the region despite
the lack of an official presence over the last twelve months, which is an
encouraging sign for the future."
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Moscow is now
one of 17 Dealers throughout Europe. Operating across seven European countries,
other dealers are based in Belgium, Germany, Monaco, Netherlands, Spain,
Switzerland and the UK. More dealer announcements will be made later in the
year.
