Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has agreed to sponsor the Cartier International Day, one
of Polo's premier events, for 2004 and 2005. As part of the agreement,
Rolls-Royce will be the official sponsor of the Prince of Wales Polo Team.
This years' Cartier International will be held on Sunday 25th July at the
prestigious Guards Polo Club, Windsor (England) where it has been staged since 1972.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has been celebrating its Centenary throughout
2004 with a select number of high profile events around the world. This
sponsorship agreement with Cartier this year ties in with their own 20th
anniversary of involvement with International Polo.
The Prince of Wales
Team will play Hurlingham for the Golden Jubilee Trophy with the England
National Team playing Chile for the Coronation Cup later in the day.
Her
Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will present the Coronation Cup to the winning
captain.
