20th January, 2006 Renault has released a limited edition version of the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet LX packed with over $1,500 of additional features. The new limited edition is easily identified by unique five-spoke 17" alloy wheels and a striking charcoal and red leather interior. The stylish interior boasts dark carbon finishes with satin chrome highlights, charcoal seats and red leather inserts with red stitching for the seats, steering wheel and gear knob. The sporty leather trim contrasts smartly with a satin chrome effect for the dashboard dials, handbrake and gearlever base. Another unique feature for the limited edition is a removable anti-turbulence screen. The mesh screen is designed for two-up touring and reduces cabin wind turbulence when fitted to the rear seat compartment. The screen is stored in the boot when not in use. The Limited Edition Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is available in a choice of three colours: Flame Red, Platinum (silver) and Pearl Black. These metallic paints are offered at no extra charge. The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is available with an efficient and lively 2.0-litre 16V engine teamed with a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional four-speed Proactive automatic transmission with flickshift selection. Renault’s Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Limited Edition is priced from $48,990* for the 6-speed manual and $51,490* for the 4-speed automatic. *Excludes dealer delivery and on-road costs. |
