British real estate agents, Townends, is moving in style with over 60 Peugeot 307 Coupé Cabriolets for its staff.

To celebrate the addition of this sporty car to its fleet, the company ran an employee slogan writing competition. The winning strap-line, ‘Trust Townends’ was chosen from around 70 entries and was penned by Damien Cannell, who won a Peugeot 206 Rally Experience at Silverstone. It will also be used as part of the car branding for Townends in the future.

Townends has over 40 branches across London, Surrey and Middlesex, offering a broad range of services including residential sales, lettings, commercial, financial services, conveyancing, surveying and property management. Primarily, branch managers and top sales performers from its residential sales and lettings divisions will use the Peugeot 307 CCs.

Townends has chosen the 307 CC powered by a 2.0 litre petrol engine, producing 138 bhp at 6,000 rpm and producing 143 lb ft of torque at 4,100 rpm. With its innovative folding metal roof, which can be raised and lowered in less than 25 seconds, the car can change from coupé to cabriolet, at the touch of a button.

The 307 CC has all the active safety features that contributed towards the Peugeot 307 being named International Car of the Year in 2002. They also help the 307 CC to deliver the driver satisfaction that is an integral part of every Peugeot, but with no compromise to safety. Safety features include anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution (EBFD) and emergency brake assist (EBA), electronic stability programme (ESP), two front SMART airbags, two head/chest side airbags, anti-whiplash "active" head restraints and electronically controlled rear roll over bars all fitted as standard equipment.

The comprehensive standard equipment is further enhanced by: digital air-conditioning with climate control, radio/CD player, aluminium interior design touches, and a fully body coloured exterior. The 307 CC combines all the benefits of a stylish coupé with the comfort and space of a four-seat convertible.
