The monthly result reflects an increase of 18% compared to June last year, and eclipsed the previous record of 753 sales in September 2003.

Sales were strong across the entire Peugeot range, which now features a comprehensive and dynamic model line-up - the 206, 206CC, 307, 307CC, 406, and the flagship of the range, the 607.

The star of the line up was the 307, with the stylish model racking up 461 sales. Interestingly, almost one quarter of 307 sales were of diesel models, highlighting the increasing popularity of diesel motoring with Australian new car buyers.

The new 307CC found 86 new owners this month, and with the continued success of the 206CC, Peugeot truly leads the way when it comes to affordable and stylish convertibles, that feature our trade-mark steel folding roofs”.
