Nissan has confirmed the Australian pricing and model grades for the all-new Nissan Qashqai, which goes on sale in
Australia in July 2014.
The Qashqai is one of Nissan’s most successful models, with over two million sold globally since the previous
generation debuted in 2007 which was known as Dualis in some markets (including Australia).
The all-new Nissan Qashqai now sets out to offer greater levels of comfort, innovative technologies and bold
styling.
The Qashqai will be available in Australia next month with both petrol and diesel engine options, each available in
two grades.
“The all-new Nissan Qashqai presents an enormous Australian-market opportunity for Nissan,” said Richard Emery,
Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Australia.
“Qashqai offers consumers style, safety, technology and premium comfort in an exciting, accessible package that
will have broad appeal.”
“Our cross-over and SUV range now boasts Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail, Murano, Pathfinder and Patrol, ensuring that
Nissan has a product for every need in this ever-growing section of the market.”
The Qashqai ST and Ti grades feature a 2.0-litre MR20 petrol engine, producing 106kW of power and 200Nm of torque.
Both petrol grades are available with either six-speed manual or Xtronic transmissions.
The Qashqai TS and TL grades are powered by a 1.6-litre R9M turbo diesel engine producing 96kW of power and 320Nm of
torque matched with an Xtronic transmission.
