Nissan readies to open its new global HQ Gallery

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. yesterday announced that the
"NISSAN GLOBAL HEADQUARTERS GALLERY" will open its doors on 8th August, 2009. The Gallery will be the
central feature of the new new Global Headquarters located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan,
welcoming visitors and customers to share in the Nissan experience.
The first-floor gallery boasts an area four times larger (about 4,000 m2) than the previous Nissan
Gallery facility loacted at Higashi Ginza, allowing for more cars to be displayed. There are four
themed-zones: "Product Zone" which highlights the newest models available in Japan; "Global Products
Zone" which showcases the global product line-up; "Corporate Communications Zone," featuring the
company's corporate activities; and "Heritage Corridor" that takes visitors back in time through its
rich history.
There is the "Nissan Boutique" offering Nissan merchandise for enthusiasts; a "Gallery Café and
"Nissan Hall" that can seat up to 600 people.
The NISSAN GLOBAL HEADQUARTERS GALLERY can be accesssed from Shin-Takashima Station on the
Minatomirai line (five-minute walk) or Yokohama Station (seven-minute walk), which is linked via the
newly constructed "Hama Mirai Walk" with the "Nissan Walk" cutting through the HQ building towards
Minatomirai.*
The official inauguration of the Gallery is scheduled for Saturday, 8th August at 10:00. To
celebrate its opening, the first 2,000 visitors will receive a commemorative souvenir.
Introduction of the Gallery Zones:
Product Zone
Showcases models available in Japan where friendly Nissan staff is on hand to assist visitors.
Other attractions include classic models and racing cars.
Global Products Zone
Showcases a wide range of Nissan vehicles sold worldwide, including the luxury Infiniti brand.
Attractions include concept cars that had debuted at motor shows.

Corporate Communication Zone
The Corporate Information Wall highlights Nissan's corporate vision and various activities; the Blue
Citizenship Wall introduces its corporate social responsibility efforts towards a sustainable future; whilst
the Event Corner showcases its many innovations and technologies.
Heritage Corridor
Travel back in time with the help of interactive videos and images, allowing the visitor to share in
Nissan's history from 1933 to more recent times.
Nissan Boutique
Variety of Nissan and NISMO branded range of merchandise for sale.
Gallery Café
A handy venue for a hot beverage offering a nice view of the Yokohama bay.
NOTE:
*The walkway to Nissan Global Headquarters will open from 8th August. On-going construction on the No. 8
Crossing Deck from Minato Mirai toward Shin-Takashima Station will continue through to the end of 2009.
