6th April, 2005 Nissan Australia has announced the launch of the "Nissan Drive to a Million" campaign, a marketing programme based on the company’s commitment to accelerated sales growth in the global automotive market. The campaign offers exceptional additional value on many models in both Nissan’s passenger and commercial vehicle range and runs from April through to June 2005.* The popular Pulsar Sedan range offers outstanding value at just $18,990** for the ST model, and now every vehicle in the sedan range includes the added benefit of $1,000 of free fuel. Nissan’s stylish Maxima ST-L, now with standard leather seats, is priced from just $38,990***, and for the duration of the “Drive to a Million” campaign all Maxima models will offer an extended five year/100,000 km warranty. The “Drive to a Million” campaign also sees Nissan’s four-wheel-drive range benefit from a host of added extras. Nissan’s strong-selling compact four-wheel drive, the X-Trail will receive the X-TREME pack valued at over $2,400, during the campaign. Included in the pack is a nudge bar, roof bars, driving lights, cargo blind, rear cargo carpet mat and kick plates. The tough Patrol Wagon also receives around $2,500 of extra value with the addition of an alloy or steel bull bardriving lights, tow bar and bonnet protector. Patrol Cab Chassis variants all receive a free bull bar and tow bar. Nissan’s Navara four-wheel drive range doesn’t miss out either. The Navara DX receives over $3,400 of extra value with air-conditioning, bull bar and tow bar included in the recommended retail price. And Nissan’s top selling Navara, the sporty ST-R, offers nearly $2,000 worth of accessories including a bull bar and tow bar at no extra cost.
