8th December, 2004 Nissan Australia has achieved its best monthly sales result since June 1990, with 6,716 units sold in November, representing an outstanding market share of 8%. On a calendar year-to-date basis, the company continued to perform strongly, with 58,189 sales recorded, an increase of almost 9% on the same period last year. Records were set right across the Nissan vehicle line-up, with “best ever November sales results” for Pulsar, Maxima, X-Trail, Patrol Cab Chassis and Navara 4x4. Nissan’s passenger vehicle range led the way, building on last year’s result by a remarkable 94%, thanks to strong sales from both the Pulsar sedan and hatch and Maxima sedan line-ups, as follows:
