Mitsubishi's soon-to-be-released new-generation Outlander SUV broke cover at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, as part of the Company's "4WD Revolution" campaign that also encompasses the recently released ML Triton and NS Pajero.

The new Outlander is longer, wider and higher, but lighter than the existing vehicle and will come with the choice of either a four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine. Both are Euro 4 compliant and fuel efficient.

The car is full of new technological innovations that deliver driver confidence and enjoyment. The handling has been tuned for Australian conditions.

The new Outlander will be available as a 5-seat or 7-seat vehicle. Consequently, the new Outlander will have a much broader appeal to a much wider cross-section of consumers than has hitherto been the case.

The new stylish and sporty new design picks up Mitsubishi's global styling at the front and the wider wheel arches give the car a strong street presence through its purposeful and modern look.
