25th July, 2005 Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) has announced the opening of Wolany Mitsubishi; the company's newest dealership, which is located in Melton, Victoria, and headed up by Mr Rick Wolany. Rick Wolany, one of Melbourne's best-known automotive dealers, recently invested approximately $5 million into what can only be described as one of the most modern and up to date dealerships in Mitsubishi's national network. "I have been inspired by Mitsubishi's recent turnaround success, due in a large part to the efforts of MMAL President & CEO Tom Phillips with the 'Better Built' - 'Better Backed' campaign," said Rick. "Momentum is building for Mitsubishi's new locally manufactured V6 the "Mitsubishi 380" and I am also very excited by the range of great new products being introduced - with every vehicle in the Mitsubishi line up changing or being replaced over the next couple of years." The Rick Wolany Mitsubishi facility is of such a high calibre that the Melton City Council has acknowledged the new development as being of a 'high standard which has contributed significantly to the promotion of a signature gateway entrance to the Melton Township. Combined with the clear and well-designed business signage and landscaping of the dealership, it is now considered by Council to be a benchmark' to other dealerships wanting to establish a presence in the area. With over 30 years experience in the Australian automotive industry, Rick Wolany was one of Toyota's elite. He is an extremely accomplished dealer who is known throughout Victoria for the sales records and achievements made at his Werribee Toyota, Lexus, and Hyundai franchises. "We are thrilled to have such an accomplished businessman as part of our 200-plus strong national dealer network," said Graham Fairhead, MMAL General Manager of Network Development & Customer Services. "It is another sign of the growing confidence within the marketplace for Mitsubishi Motors in Australia. And with the upcoming launch of '380' in October, which is perhaps the most anticipated Australian car launch of 2005, we are looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding partnership with Rick Wolany." |
