The Mercedes-Benz Viano, which was first released in Australia mid last year, is now equipped with additional standard features and enhancements.

The TREND base model line will now include as standard PARKTRONIC, light sensor for headlights, rain sensor for windscreen wipers, upgraded sound system (AUDIO 20) and side airbags for driver and front passenger.

The standard equipment for the AMBIENTE model line will now include window airbags for the driver and front passenger in addition to 17-inch light alloy wheels, six disc CD changer, courtesy lights in the doors, burr walnut interior trim, leather steering wheel and gearshift lever, leather upholstery, rear pockets on front seats and self levelling rear air suspension.

The appeal of the Viano is accentuated by its striking design, well thought-through interior, range of engines and its smooth driving characteristics.

Based on the current year-to-date sales figures (72 units) for the Viano, the anticipated annual sales of 200 units may be exceeded this year.
