DaimlerChrysler has invested more than 600 Million US Dollars in the expansion of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The new M-Class and the all-new Mercedes-Benz R-Class will be manufactured at this plant.

The new M-Class will be released in Australia in November 2005. But there is no decision, as yet, on the Australian availability on the new R-Class, which will be released mid-year in USA.
