Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific has announced pricing* for the all new
GLA-Class. Incorprating a new 'youthful' design, the GLA-Class makes a dynamic statement in the fast growing compact SUV
segment.
“Our new GLA-Class reinterprets the compact SUV segment. Continuing the success of our range in the compact class,
the GLA broadens our offering to a youthful, more dynamic target market.” said Horst Von Sanden, CEO and Managing
Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars Australia/Pacific. “Its expressive design, practicality and versatility, and superb
performance will ensure that the GLA-Class is highly desired in our local market.”
Progressive in design, serene in day-to-day motoring and with off-road capabilities, this compact model fits perfectly
into the urban lifestyle. It light-footedly masters all day-to-day challenges and is also robust enough for off-road
excursions in the form of the GLA 250 4MATIC.
The first version to arrive, the GLA 200 CDI, delivers a maximum output of 100kW and 300Nm of torque from the 2.2L
4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, while producing an outstanding fuel consumption rating of just 4.6L/100km
(combined cycle).
The GLA 250 4MATIC, which arrives later in the year, is the first Mercedes-Benz SUV to feature the new generation
4MATIC system and utilises a 2.0L 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine to produce 155kW and 350Nm of torque.
Fusing outstanding performance with exceptional economy, the GLA 250 4MATIC has a consumption rating of 7.0L/100km
(combined cycle).
