Mazda Australia's refreshed 7-seat SUV range, CX-9, has arrived in dealerships nationwide boasting a suite of additional features, a more expressive design and an improved fuel economy of 12.2 litres per 100 km.

Priced from $49,990* the new Mazda CX-9 range gives Australian families more choice than ever before with three models: Classic, Luxury and the all-new Grand Touring.

Boasting interior and exterior upgrades, Mazda CX-9 is even better value for money with the Classic model priced $2,000 less than the equivalent outgoing model and Luxury $3,115 less. And that's without taking into account the impressive list of additional equipment now standard on these models.

Mazda CX-9 was launched in Australia in December 2007. It was then and remains Mazda's largest passenger car.

The new CX-9 expresses a bolder design incorporating a larger lower grille and Mazda's expressive five-point 'family face'. Exterior styling upgrades are complimented by a refreshed interior boasting a barrage of new features.

All Mazda CX-9 models are appointed with three-zone climate control air-conditioning, alloy wheels, cruise control and power windows and mirrors. An MP3/WMA compatible CD player is operated through a display which includes a reversing camera with rear parking guidelines. Satellite Navigation can be optioned on CX-9 Luxury and is standard on Grand Touring.

Powering the CX-9 is Mazda's largest capacity engine: A 3.7 litre V6 petrol engine with 24-valves, DOHC and Sequential Valve Timing (S-VT) is standard. It produces 204 kW of power and 367 Nm of torque and it is matched to a 6-speed Activematic transmission. Power is delivered to the road via Mazda's on-demand Active Torque Split (ATS) all-wheel drive system.
