Mazda Motor Corporation debuted a new small SUV, the Mazda CX-3, earlier
this month at the Los Angeles Motor Show in USA.
The new compact cross-over SUV is the fifth model in Mazda’s line-up of new-generation vehicles that feature ‘KODO -
Soul of Motion’ design.
With global launches starting from Japan in the northern spring of 2015, CX-3 is set to become a core model in the car
maker’s line-up.

The all-new compact cross-over SUV will compete with popular cars such as Holden Trax, Nissan Juke, Kia Sportage,
Hyundai ix35, Mitsubishi ASX, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Jeep Compass, the soon to be released Honda HR-V and Renault Captur
and the upcoming Jeep Renegade.
The CX-3 was developed to suit the buyer’s lifestyle, from inner-city driving to enjoying the great outdoors.
The powertrain line-up includes the 1.5-litre clean diesel engine and 2.0-litre petrol engine, depending on the
market.
Along with Mazda’s new-generation AWD system, each engine option is said to deliver good driving performance.
To enhance the driving experience, the Mazda CX-3 also offers a wide range of Mazda's technologies, including the MZD
Connect car connectivity system and i-ACTIVSENSE advanced safety features.
A release in Australia is anticipated in Q3 2015.
