The new Mazda BT-50 will offer levels of interior
refinement and comfort never before seen on a Mazda utility.
Presented as an “active lifestyle vehicle”, the interior of the new Mazda BT-50 has been designed
to complement its 'athletic' and refined exterior design and is claimed to offer a comfortable and
sporty environment which may even rival Mazda’s current passenger car standard.
The cockpit is designed to wrap around the driver and provide an environment that supports
enthusiastic driving while raising the expectations of a sporty and responsive driving experience that
goes beyond any conventional Japanese-style utility.
Smooth flowing lines throughout the cabin provide a look never before seen on a Japanese utility
while the dashboard has been designed to provide optimal space for driver and passengers alike. An
enhanced instrument panel offers improved readability of the driver-oriented gauges and advanced Human
Machine Interface (HMI) techniques have been adopted throughout the development process ensuring that
operation of all controls and switches is both comfortable and intuitive.
With modern and refined styling both inside and out, the new Mazda BT-50 will raise the bar in the
Japanese utility segment and possibly provide an alternative to the family wagon and 4x4 SUV.
