Mazda's Record Performance Continues |

2nd June, 2005 Mazda Australia’s record sales pace continues with the company retailing 5,259 vehicles last month. The May result was 8.3 per cent above the same time last year, which had stood as the company’s best May performance. Last month’s total makes it five record months in a row for the top-selling importer and takes Mazda’s year-to-date total to 27,900 or 395 vehicles more than the company sold during calendar year 2000. The Mazda 3 continued to perform above expectation selling 2,521, Mazda 6 now on run out ahead of a facelift in August, had its second best month this year with 1,328 sales and B Series sold 582. Mazda Australia’s National Vehicle Sales Manager, Vinesh Bhindi, said: “Another record month for Mazda and with continuing strong demand for our passenger and commercial models we expect another good performance this month”. Mazda Australia is expected to sell a record 60,000 vehicles this year. |
