TMI Pacific Set Their Sights On S.A.
30th June, 2008 | |||
With dealer sites in rural and metro areas along the eastern seaboard, TMI Pacific, distributors of the Mahindra Pik-Up utility, will commence their expansion across the west within the next quarter. South Australia will be the first market targeted, with Western Australia to follow. “Having developed 24 dealer sites that are servicing the New South Wales, Victorian and Queensland markets successfully, we felt that it was time to begin our penetration into the South Australian market,” says Claire Tynan, Chief Operating Officer, TMI Pacific. “We have had positive feedback from dealers and buyers in the East. Undoubtedly, there is a challenge in introducing a new brand to the Australian market, however we encouragingly find that once dealers and drivers get into the vehicle and test drive it, they’re immediately impressed and often 'hooked'”. “With some unpredictable economic times ahead and many rural areas having suffered droughts, particularly in South Australia, a 'work-horse' such as the Mahindra Pik-Up may very well be the answer for buyers looking for a real value for money proposition,” says Tynan. TMI Pacific will be hosting an open day in South Australia in the near future and aim to distribute the vehicle from the final quarter of 2008 onwards.
