“It is a mammoth task to introduce a brand new vehicle to the Australian market, but we are very pleased with the support we’ve had from our existing network and the interest we’ve had from new dealers,” says Michael Tynan, Chairman of TMI Pacific. “Our plan is to continue to develop the NSW and QLD markets and we’re excited to now be offering the vehicle in Victoria. We are on track for a roll out across the nation by mid to late 2008 as originally planned.”

With a focus on rural areas particularly, the new dealer locations for the Mahindra ute from this month include:

• Sunshine Coast Mahindra - Nambour
• Fraser Agricultural Mahindra - Proserpine

• Southern Mahindra - Cranbourne
• Northern Mahindra - Bena, Kyabram, Mansfield and Wangaratta
• Ballarat Mahindra - Bendigo

“Mahindra has been extremely successful in distributing their tractors and it makes sense for us to also align ourselves with various dealers that have a loyal customer base where both have experience with, know and trust the brand,” says Tynan.

“This will be a very exciting year for us as we continue our plan to distribute the vehicle across new areas of Australia where there’s a strong need for a value for money hard working ute.”
