The Lotus marque in Australia, takes another significant step today with the opening of a new purpose built Lotus showroom in new premises in Melbourne. The new building is located at 116 Cremorne Street, Richmond, about 1 km from the existing Church Street facility. Incidentally, the original St Kilda facility is now closed, as the building is scheduled for demolition and re-development of that site. Lotus Melbourne showroom will also house the occasional Noble and Pagani, in their role as Victorian dealer for those brands. The main focus however, will be distinctly Lotus. The existing Church Street showroom will from today be dedicated to MG Rover products, trading as ZAGAME MG Rover Richmond. All car servicing has however been relocated to the much larger Lotus Melbourne site. Lastly, they are also relocating the Lotus Cars Australia and the Morgan Cars Australia offices to the Cremorne Street address today. These Import and Distribution offices will now be housed on level 1, above the Lotus Melbourne showroom.
