The recent launch of the all-new Lexus ES line after a seven-year absence
of the nameplate from the Australian market is strengthening the brand as it continues its new product programme.
The all-new sixth generation ES arrives with greatly improved interior space, comfort, performance, fuel economy,
safety, aerodynamics, features and refinement compared with its fourth generation predecessor.
The all-new model also introduces hybrid technology to the range with the highly efficient 2.5-litre hybrid drivetrain
on ES 300h; also available with a powerful 3.5-litre V6 petrol drivetrain in ES 350.
The ES models offer leading levels of standard specification teamed with generous levels of space and refinement -
including over one metre of rear leg room.
Drivers will also appreciate the greater focus on driving dynamics, with its all-new platform, steering and suspension
combining to offer a refined and comfortable yet confidence-inspiring drive.
Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley said that the reintroduction of the ES line-up was a direct result of
consumer demand.
"The all-new ES presents Lexus with a fantastic opportunity to re-engage with existing loyal Lexus customers while
tempting many vehicle purchasers - some of whom will be first-time luxury buyers," Mr Hanley said.
"With its bold new look, capable driving dynamics, superior specification and space teamed with Lexus' undeniable
customer care and support, the ES is set to win a spot on many new driveways," he said.
The four-model range will feature Luxury and Sports Luxury variants for each powertrain, with pricing starting from
$63,000*.
