Land Rover today reports a record sales month totaling 3,881 vehicles sold in November in the United States. This marks a 28% improvement in sales from the same month last year. This month's sales also mark the best November sales for the brand, surpassing the previous best November in 2002 when 3,803 vehicles were sold.

"We are pleased with this month's strong sales," said Pat Ward, vice president of Retail Operations for Land Rover. "Range Rover continues to be a strong competitor in its segment, and we look forward to LR3 making a bold statement in the marketplace in the coming months."

Range Rover accomplishes a record month so far this year with sales totaling 1,484 vehicles, an increase of 36% from the same month last year. This month also marks the best November ever for Range Rover, surpassing the previous best November in 2003 when 1,088 were sold. This model continues its strong presence in the marketplace with new navigation, entertainment and communication systems for the 2005 model year.

The LR3 makes a strong sales debut with 1,307 sold in November. This new model was carefully developed and engineered to Land Rover's exacting standards and is packed with power, technology and a spacious interior cabin virtually unmatched in its class. The LR3 has already won numerous awards including Motor Trend's prestigious 2005 Sport/Utility of the Year award.
