Kia Motors Australia customers have hit the 7-7-7 jackpot with Kia's
announcement of an industry leading package that sets a new standard for customer care in the Australian automotive
streetscape.
With the arrival of Australia’s first comprehensive unlimited kilometre seven year warranty coupled to a seven year
capped-price service programme and seven year roadside assist, Kia customers have even more reason to smile.
“This is a watershed moment in customer care,” KMAu Chief Operating Officer, Damien Meredith, said. “Kia
customers now have a peace of mind that can’t be matched in the Australian new car market.”
“Crucially, our customers will not be asked to pay any more for their scheduled services than had been the case
with the five year capped-price programme.”
“The two year increase in warranty, capped-price servicing and roadside assist is absolutely transparent and we
will not be asking our customers to dip into their pockets to fund the extra benefits.”
Mr Meredith added that the additional warranty and service benefits would be fully transferable to subsequent owners,
provided the usual conditions of the Kia Connect programme had been met.

“It will quickly become apparent that Kia’s established value proposition will be even further enhanced by the
level of ownership coverage and clarity flowing from the 7-7-7 programme,” Mr Meredith said.
“A capped-price service programme, particularly where a service is an annual event, is an excellent tool for owners
to have clarity and consistency of pricing when budgeting for keeping their new purchase in peak condition.”
All Kia owners who currently benefit from the five year capped-price programme will be automatically upgraded to share
in the additional two years of the new seven year plan.
Mr Meredith said the decision to expand what was already an outstanding warranty and service package was a
determination to treat customers with the professionalism and respect that buyers of any new car deserve.
“Kia acknowledges that there is huge choice available in the new car market in Australia and we need to be ready to
build a lifetime relationship with our customers, anticipating and providing for their needs when they make that decision
to join the Kia family.”
In addition to the peace of mind provided by a comprehensive seven year warranty and the pricing clarity of a seven
year capped-price schedule, Kia Connect will also bring the confidence of a 24/7 roadside assist programme at no further
cost to the customer.
The first year’s roadside assist will be automatic with the purchase of the vehicle and will be renewed at no cost
with each annual service by an authorised Kia dealer.
The latest improvement in customer ownership benefits are extensions of Kia’s award-winning styling, uncompromised
safety and outstanding engineering in a package that offers industry-best value.
