Hyundai’s April passenger car market share of 6.4 percent was a 0.3 percent lift over March and year-to-date now stands at 6.2 percent.

For the third consecutive month and year-to-date, Hyundai ranked fifth in passenger car sales and one place better than Hyundai’s sixth position in 2003.

Hyundai sales in April totalled 3152, up 69 percent over April 2003. Year-to-date, Hyundai has sold 12,756 vehicles, up 58 percent year-over-year.

Getz was again Hyundai’s most popular car and was again second top seller in the Light Car segment with 1281 new deliveries, its second-best ever month.
