Hyundai Motor Company Australia has added a 1.6 litre petrol
engine to its i30 line-up. Already setting benchmarks for the small car category with its European design
and class leading specification, price and safety; i30 now offers even more choice for economy-minded
drivers.
Advanced engineering technologies deliver a choice of engines to ensure enjoyable, smooth fuel efficient
performance. The refined and economic 1.6 litre CRDi turbo diesel and 2.0 litre CVVT petrol engine variants
are joined by the new 1.6 litre petrol alternative available in the i30 SX hatch.
The new Hyundai i30 SX 1.6 litre petrol model sets new standards achieving both 5-star ANCAP and 5-star
GVG ratings. With an outstanding combined fuel consumption of 6.5 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 155 g/km#
for the manual variant, the i30 1.6 litre petrol engine is the most fuel efficient naturally aspirated
engine in its segment^.
