Another record month of sales for HSV

Building on the best month of sales in the history of Holden Special
Vehicles, Managing Director Phil Harding today confirmed November sales had
eclipsed October – with 515 retail deliveries into Australia and New Zealand –
a new record for the high performance car company. “This is an outstanding result and further confirmation of the impact the new
E series range is having on the Australian and New Zealand markets”, Phil
Harding said. “Nearly 70% of November retail deliveries were for the new Clubsport R8, GTS
and Senator Signature models and we also recorded very strong sales of the HSV
VXR in November.” Phi Harding said with nearly 1,000 HSV retail deliveries in the last two
months, the company would finish 2006 strongly. National Sales Manager Darren Bowler said HSV was continuing to gain sales at
the expense of high priced European imports. “Customers have recognised the remarkable value for money story our cars
represent, in particular when compared with expensive German performance models”,
Darren Bowler said. “Our launch campaign theme of Australia 1 – Germany 0 is really working for
us!” he said. November’s 515 retail deliveries compared with 491 in October and were a full
18% above the next best month in HSV’s history – December 2004. Sales results in
Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia were particularly pleasing. Year to date deliveries now stand at 3,147. “This gives HSV an excellent springboard for 2007, with WM Grange to debut
and the company celebrating it’s 20th anniversary”, Harding said. |
