New E series continues to deliver records for HSV
12th January, 2007 | ||||
Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) has set a new benchmark and another
all time record sales result in December, with 519 retail deliveries
across its Australian and New Zealand dealer network. The highest ever sales month in the history of the high performance
car company, means in Australia HSV delivered 3,123 vehicles in 2006,
with the New Zealand result representing 543 retail deliveries – 3,666
in total across the two markets. “This is a particularly pleasing result given the doom and gloom
being sprouted in certain quarters about the state of the local car
industry and large car market in general”, Managing Director of HSV
Mr Phil Harding said. “This excellent finish to 2006 proves the Australian and New Zealand
motoring public is excited about the range of luxury and performance
cars our company is manufacturing”. Phil Harding said Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria all
posted individual record monthly results in December. “We aim to continue strong sales into 2007 as well as finalise export
opportunities for the E series”, he said. This year will also see HSV
bring to the market the luxurious long wheel based performance vehicle that
debuted at the Sydney International Motor Show – the HSV Grange. |
