The all-new
Honda CR-V is now the number
one selling petrol medium SUV in Australia on a year-to-date basis.
The CR-V, launched in late 2012, has sold 4,737 units for the first four months of 2013 and has proved to be a popular
choice for buyers in this growing segment.
“The CR-V has been a huge success with customers looking for an SUV with outstanding packaging, performance and
value for money,” said Honda Australia Director Stephen Collins. “We have also just announced that the CR-V will
feature a new variant to go on sale in June this year that will feature our Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) that we
launched in our all-new Accord this week.”
“We are confident the CR-V with ADAS will boost sales even further and ensure the CR-V remains at the top of medium
SUV buyer’s shopping lists,” Mr. Collins said.
The Advanced Driver Assist System features state-of-the-art safety technology such as Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS),
Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
ADAS is designed to complement the driver, not to replace their input. ADAS contributes to active safety, while
ensuring that the driver remains in control of the vehicle at all times.
The current price* for a Honda CR-V commences at $27,490* for the 2WD manual VTi. The 4WD version commences at
$32,790* for the CR-V VTi automatic.
NOTE:
* Manufacturer's List Price (MLP) excludes dealer delivery fees and the numerous statutory charges (commonly known as
on-road costs). Additionally, please note that all prices, fees and charges are subject to change without notice, as are
the specifications.
