Honda Australia enjoyed its best ever April result with total sales of 3,677 units.

This represents an increase of 37% over April 2004 and a Year to Date increase of 31% from 11,503 in 2004 to 15,184 this year.

Thailand built models accounted for 35% of the monthly sales, with the Accord achieving 773 units and the Civic four door 524 units.

Other strong performers were the Accord Euro, Jazz, Odyssey and the recently upgraded Honda Integra.

This month’s result augurs well for Honda to achieve its target of 41,000 in 2005.

Honda Australia Senior Director, Lindsay Smalley was pleased with the result. “It is pleasing to see our Thailand built products performing so well following the implementation of the Thai Free Trade Agreement last January.”

The family sized Accord VTi price commences at $29,990 and the Civic 4-door at $19,990.
