Honda Sets Best-Ever Monthly Sales Record |

Honda Australia set an all-time sales record with
3533 units sold in June, contributing to the company’s best year-to-date sales
result ever.
The record result was achieved through Honda’s top-sellers such as Accord
(1189), CR-V (990) and Jazz (540). The just-released Honda Odyssey chipped in with the new model selling 255
units in its first month on sale, exceeding its sales forecast by 100 units.
Environmentally-conscious buyers also bought 24 Honda Civic Hybrids during
June – almost a quarter of the model’s annual target of 100 units. “This is an absolutely fantastic result,” said Honda Australia Director
Lindsay Smalley. “We are thrilled to see the strength of the Honda brand and our
staff and dealer network are to be congratulated on this achievement.” “We’re delighted to see the success of Accord and CR-V as well as the new
Odyssey. Our diverse lineup appeals to consumers and we are well on track to
smashing our sales record set in 2003.”
