The 2004 version of Holden's classy new generation Vectra is looking better
than ever, thanks to subtle styling upgrades and lower-than-ever prices.
The sophisticated and completely redeveloped Holden Vectra range introduced
in March 2003 comprises three models: the 2.2 litre CD sedan and hatch, the 3.2
litre V6 CDX hatch and the sports-oriented V6 CDXi hatch.
While the updated 2004 Vectra offers new features and a similarly
award-winning blend of powerful performance, impressive driving dynamics,
refined ride quality, technological innovation and high specification, price
levels have been reduced by almost 10 per cent on the CD model and almost five
per cent on the CDX and CDXi.
Andrew Rau, Holden's Marketing Manager, Small and Medium Cars, says the price
restructure was prompted by the success of a recent Vectra retail campaign.
"We operate in an extremely competitive environment - and Holden retailers
enjoyed such a great response and customer feedback to the 2003 campaign that we
have now extended it to include '04 Vectra models," he said.
"This makes Vectra a great all-round value for money proposition, especially
when you consider that the CDXi now offers curtain airbags, the CDX is equipped
with dual zone climate control air conditioning and CD models benefit from a
range of styling upgrades."
Externally, the 2004-specification Holden Vectra CD and CDX models are set
apart by clear white side repeater indicators and rear indicator lens. Door
handles on the CD sedan and hatch are now body-coloured.
There are two new exterior finishes to choose from: Oyster (a warm metallic
silver grey with gold highlights) and Silver Lightning (cool steel silver
metallic).
The CDX has new, micro-patterned 'Muna' interior trim, and CD and CDX models
feature new metallic silver detailing on
