17th February, 2006 Ford unveiled a special edition model of its popular award winning Territory at the Melbourne Motor Show – the Ford Territory SR. "Territory is Australia's most popular SUV, and we believe Territory SR offers even more excitement and greater value for money over and above what is already a very highly desirable award winning vehicle," said Ford Australia President, Tom Gorman. "The special edition model provides additional sporty exterior styling cues and increased functionality." Ford Territory SR offers over $3,800 of added specification for a $1000 premium above the recommended retail price of a standard Territory TX. Additional features include:
"The all-wheel-drive (AWD) version of the Territory SR is also fitted with the impressive new six speed gearbox introduced last October, offering a silky smooth world class transmission," said Mr Gorman. "Dual stage driver and front passenger airbags, power adjustable pedals, power adjustable driver's seat, as well as Territory's trademark 30 plus storage compartments, are features of both the rear and AWD model." The recommended offer price for the Territory SR RWD is $40,490* while the Territory SR AWD has a recommended offer price of $44,990*. Both models will be available from mid-March. "Territory SR represents an outstanding buying proposition, and is expected to be very popular amongst those looking for a little extra in terms of vehicle appearance and functionality," concluded Mr Gorman. *Excluding dealer delivery and statutory charges |
