Restructured Pricing For Elfin
by Stephen Walker
19th March, 2007 | ||||
Following a major review of the manufacturing process and option policy of the MS8,
Elfin Sports Cars today announced a price realignment of its exciting V8 road cars. The MS8 Clubman is now priced at $84,990 RRP and the MS8 Streamliner at $99,990 RRP,
excluding on road costs. In response to customer requests, Elfin will offer a greater level of choice in the
specification, with some of the previous track oriented features now placed onto the
option list. Since the acquisition of Elfin by the Tom Walkinshaw group in December last
year, the company has undertaken a comprehensive review of the cost structure, marketing
and model position for the highly praised MS8 sports cars. Potential customers have expressed a desire for a more affordable Elfin, without the
complexity and cost of features such as the fully race adjustable suspension and brakes.
These and other track derived features will now be options. At the same time the base car
will lose none of its high performance appeal and now with the revised pricing it will be
within reach for more potential Elfin owners. Orders are being taken now for road and track versions of the Clubman and Streamliner
with the revised specification. A network of Elfin Dealers has been appointed across the
country to showcase the cars. The Elfin Sports Car company celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary in 2007. |
